Product use conditions:


a) Suitable for indoor and outdoor use;


b) Ambient temperature -40°C~+40°C;


c) The altitude does not exceed 3000m (the porcelain sleeve type does not exceed 1000m);


d) The power frequency is not less than 48Hz and not more than 62 Hz;


e) The long-term power frequency voltage applied between the arrester terminals does not exceed the continuous operating voltage of the arrester;


f) Areas with an earthquake intensity of 8 degrees or below;


g) The maximum wind speed shall not exceed 35m/s.

According to JB/T 8459-1996 "Surge Arrester Product Model Compilation Method", the description of the metal oxide arrester product model is as follows:


Product type: Y—indicates porcelain sleeve metal oxide arrester


YH (HY)—indicates metal oxide surge arrester with organic jacket


Structural features: W—means no gap C—means series gap


Place of use: S—indicates power distribution type Z—indicates power station type R—indicates parallel compensation capacitor


           D—for motor T—for electrified railway X—for line type


Additional features: W—indicates antifouling type G—indicates plateau type TH—indicates use in humid tropics


           DL—represents cable type arrester (advantages: the product adopts a fully sealed structure, the creepage distance is large, and it can be applied to heavily polluted places)
