Cable sheath protector
Due to electromagnetic induction, the metal shielding layer (or metal sheath) of long line high-voltage single core power cables generates induced voltage, which leads to aging of insulation and reduction of insulation grade, resulting in reduced cable life. Once the induced voltage exceeds the sheath breakdown voltage, the outer sheath is broken down, forming a multi-point grounding fault of single core cables.
